Options

How to use device type specific configuration

  • transition: Controls the transition time (in seconds) of on/off, brightness, color temperature (if applicable) and color (if applicable) changes. Defaults to 0 (no transition). The value must be a number with a minimum value of 0

  • identify_timeout: Sets the duration of the identification procedure in seconds (i.e., how long the device would flash).The value ranges from 1 to 30 seconds (default: 3). The value must be a number with a minimum value of 1 and with a with a maximum value of 30

  • state_action: State actions will also be published as 'action' when true (default false). The value must be true or false

Exposes

Light

This light supports the following features: state, brightness.

  • state: To control the state publish a message to topic zigbee2mqtt/FRIENDLY_NAME/set with payload {"state": "ON"}, {"state": "OFF"} or {"state": "TOGGLE"}. To read the state send a message to zigbee2mqtt/FRIENDLY_NAME/get with payload {"state": ""}.
  • brightness: To control the brightness publish a message to topic zigbee2mqtt/FRIENDLY_NAME/set with payload {"brightness": VALUE} where VALUE is a number between 0 and 254. To read the brightness send a message to zigbee2mqtt/FRIENDLY_NAME/get with payload {"brightness": ""}.

On with timed off

When setting the state to ON, it might be possible to specify an automatic shutoff after a certain amount of time. To do this add an additional property on_time to the payload which is the time in seconds the state should remain on. Additionally an off_wait_time property can be added to the payload to specify the cooldown time in seconds when the light will not answer to other on with timed off commands. Support depends on the light firmware. Some devices might require both on_time and off_wait_time to work Examples : {"state" : "ON", "on_time": 300}, {"state" : "ON", "on_time": 300, "off_wait_time": 120}.

Transition

For all of the above mentioned features it is possible to do a transition of the value over time. To do this add an additional property transition to the payload which is the transition time in seconds. Examples: {"brightness":156,"transition":3}, {"color_temp":241,"transition":1}.

Moving/stepping

Instead of setting a value (e.g. brightness) directly it is also possible to:

  • move: this will automatically move the value over time, to stop send value stop or 0.
  • step: this will increment/decrement the current value by the given one.

The direction of move and step can be either up or down, provide a negative value to move/step down, a positive value to move/step up. To do this send a payload like below to zigbee2mqtt/FRIENDLY_NAME/set

NOTE: brightness move/step will stop at the minimum brightness and won't turn on the light when it's off. In this case use brightness_move_onoff/brightness_step_onoff

Identify (enum)

Initiate device identification. Value will not be published in the state. It's not possible to read (/get) this value. To write (/set) a value publish a message to topic zigbee2mqtt/FRIENDLY_NAME/set with payload {"identify": NEW_VALUE}. The possible values are: identify.

Prev state (binary)

Indicate the previous state before action. Value can be found in the published state on the prev_state property. To read (/get) the value publish a message to topic zigbee2mqtt/FRIENDLY_NAME/get with payload {"prev_state": ""}. It's not possible to write (/set) this value. If value equals ON prev state is ON, if OFF OFF.

On timer (numeric)

Define the ON embedded timer duration in seconds. A 0 value will deactivate the timer. Value can be found in the published state on the on_timer property. To read (/get) the value publish a message to topic zigbee2mqtt/FRIENDLY_NAME/get with payload {"on_timer": ""}. Enable pre on delay (binary)

Enable (0x01) / Disable (0x00) PreOn delay. Value can be found in the published state on the enable_pre_on_delay property. Pulse duration (numeric)

Set the value of ON pulse length. Value can be found in the published state on the pulse_duration property. Time type (enum)

Indicates the current Type of time selected that will be used during push button configuration: - 0x00 -> Seconds - 0x01 -> Minutes. Long on duration (numeric)

Operating mode (enum)

Indicates the operating mode: - 0x00 -> Timer - 0x01 -> Staircase - 0x02 -> Pulse. Value can be found in the published state on the operating_mode property. Indicate which state must be apply after a blink sequence: - 0x00 -> State before blinking - 0x01 -> OFF - 0x02 -> ON - 0x03 -> Infinite blinking. Move to position command (composite)

Move to position specified in uc_BrightnessEnd parameter.If TOR mode is set (no dimming) or MTR : if uc_BrightnessEnd under 50% will set to OFF else will be set to ON. Can be set by publishing to zigbee2mqtt/FRIENDLY_NAME/set with payload {"move_to_position_prop": {"brightness_start": VALUE, "brightness_end": VALUE, "pre_timer_value": VALUE, "enable_pre_timer": VALUE, "timer_value": VALUE, "enable_timer": VALUE, "transition_time": VALUE}}

  • brightness_start (numeric): Define the brightness at the beginning of the transition, in %
  • brightness_end (numeric): Define the brightness at the end of the transition, in %
  • pre_timer_value (numeric): Define the pre timer value, otherwise use 0xFFFFFFFF to use the one configured in the product unit is s
  • enable_pre_timer (binary): Define whether the device should use the pre timer or not, if 0xFF then use the one configured in product allowed values: true or false
  • timer_value (numeric): Define the timer ON value, otherwise use 0xFFFFFFFF to use the one configured in the product unit is s

  • transition_time (numeric): Define the transition time from the brightness start to the brightness end, in ms

Pulse command (composite)

This command allows the relay to be controlled with an impulse. The pulse time is defined by PulseLength. Can be set by publishing to zigbee2mqtt/FRIENDLY_NAME/set with payload {"pulse_prop": {"pulse_length": VALUE}}

  • pulse_length (numeric): Pulse length max value is 65535, unit is ms

Blink command (composite)

With this command, the module is asked to perform a blinking sequence.. Can be set by publishing to zigbee2mqtt/FRIENDLY_NAME/set with payload {"blink_prop": {"blink_amount": VALUE, "blink_on_period": VALUE, "blink_off_period": VALUE, "state_after_sequence": VALUE, "do_periodic_cycle": VALUE}}

  • blink_amount (numeric): If defined will force the number of blink to be done (only for this order) if not the device will use its own value.
  • blink_on_period (numeric): If defined will force the blink’s “on time” (only for this order) if not the device will use its own value.
  • blink_off_period (numeric): If defined will force the blink’s “off time” (only for this order) if not the device will use its own value.
  • state_after_sequence (enum): If defined will force the state after the sequence (only for this order). if not the device will use its own value- allowed values: previous, off, on, infinite
  • do_periodic_cycle (binary): If set to true the blinking will be “infinite” allowed values: true or false

Deaf blink command (composite)

Start a deaf sequence on a device only if the attribute “eDeaf” is set to Enable. Can be set by publishing to zigbee2mqtt/FRIENDLY_NAME/set with payload {"deaf_blink_prop": {"blink_amount": VALUE, "blink_on_time": VALUE, "sequence_amount": VALUE, "sequence_of_blinks": VALUE}}

  • blink_amount (numeric): If defined will force the number of blink to be done during one sequence (only for this order) if not the device will use its own value
  • blink_on_time (numeric): If defined will force the blink’s “on time” (only for this order) if not the device will use its own value
  • sequence_amount (numeric): If defined will set the number of sequence to be done. Each sequence is spaced by 1 second. (Max 6) max value is 6
  • sequence_of_blinks (list): Array with the number of blink to be done for each sequence. Will override “uc_BlinkAmount“

Long on command (enum)

Switch output ON for LONG ON DURATION time. Value will not be published in the state. It's not possible to read (/get) this value. To write (/set) a value publish a message to topic zigbee2mqtt/FRIENDLY_NAME/set with payload {"long_on_command": NEW_VALUE}. The possible values are: longOnAction.

Power failure mode (enum)

Define the device behavior after power failure. Value can be found in the published state on the power_failure_mode property. To read (/get) the value publish a message to topic zigbee2mqtt/FRIENDLY_NAME/get with payload {"power_failure_mode": ""}. To write (/set) a value publish a message to topic zigbee2mqtt/FRIENDLY_NAME/set with payload {"power_failure_mode": NEW_VALUE}. The possible values are: last_state, off, on, blink.

Current position (numeric)

This attribute defines the current position, in %. Value can be found in the published state on the current_position property. To read (/get) the value publish a message to topic zigbee2mqtt/FRIENDLY_NAME/get with payload {"current_position": ""}. It's not possible to write (/set) this value.

Memory position (numeric)

Enable ramp up (binary)

Nightlight starting brightness (numeric)
