Notes

Coordinator endpoint

This hob uses Miele's private Zigbee profile for live telemetry. Some adapters may require coordinator-side support for a Miele gateway endpoint before the hob starts reporting cooking-zone updates.

When the coordinator endpoint is available, the hob publishes per-zone state, power and mode, plus aggregate hob_power and extractor_demand values which can be used by MQTT automations, for example to control an extractor fan.

Exposes

Zone count (numeric)

Number of available cooking zones. Value can be found in the published state on the zone_count property. It's not possible to read (/get) or write (/set) this value.

Active zones (numeric)

Number of cooking zones currently on. Value can be found in the published state on the active_zones property. It's not possible to read (/get) or write (/set) this value.

Hob power (numeric)

Average hob power across available zones. Value can be found in the published state on the hob_power property. It's not possible to read (/get) or write (/set) this value. The minimal value is 0 and the maximum value is 100. The unit of this value is %.

Extractor demand (numeric)

Extractor demand derived from average and peak zone power. Value can be found in the published state on the extractor_demand property. It's not possible to read (/get) or write (/set) this value. The minimal value is 0 and the maximum value is 100. The unit of this value is %.

Zone 0 state (binary)

Zone 0 cooking state. Value can be found in the published state on the zone_0_state property. It's not possible to read (/get) or write (/set) this value. If value equals ON zone 0 state is ON, if OFF OFF.

Zone 0 power (numeric)

Zone 0 manual power level; 0 for special automatic modes. Value can be found in the published state on the zone_0_power property. It's not possible to read (/get) or write (/set) this value. The minimal value is 0 and the maximum value is 9.

Zone 0 mode (enum)

Zone 0 operating mode. Value can be found in the published state on the zone_0_mode property. It's not possible to read (/get) or write (/set) this value. The possible values are: off, normal, twin_booster_1, twin_booster_2, keep_warm, keep_warm_plus, tempcontrol_fry_1, tempcontrol_fry_2, tempcontrol_fry_3, tempcontrol_simmer, unknown.

Zone 1 state (binary)

Zone 1 cooking state. Value can be found in the published state on the zone_1_state property. It's not possible to read (/get) or write (/set) this value. If value equals ON zone 1 state is ON, if OFF OFF.

Zone 1 power (numeric)

Zone 1 manual power level; 0 for special automatic modes. Value can be found in the published state on the zone_1_power property. It's not possible to read (/get) or write (/set) this value. The minimal value is 0 and the maximum value is 9.

Zone 1 mode (enum)
